When the Irish Invaded Canada Publicity

Off and running with the book tour and publicity for this week’s release of WHEN THE IRISH INVADED CANADA. The one comment I’ve been hearing over and over again is that people have never heard of this story before, so I’m happy to be dredging back up this piece of forgotten history.

Helping to get the story out about the Fenian Raids and the Civil War veterans who fought for Ireland’s freedom, I’ve written a few articles this week. Click here to read my piece for Time.com: “An Irish-American Army Invaded Canada in 1866. Here’s What Happened.” Click here to read my piece for History.com: “When Irish-Americans Attacked Canada—With the White House’s Blessing.” Click here to read my piece for Military History Now: “The Fenian Raids — How an Army of Irish-American Civil War Vets Took On the British Empire.”

Had a great start to the WHEN THE IRISH INVADED CANADA book tour with great events at An Unlikely Story in Plainville, Massachusetts, and Gibson’s Bookstore in Concord, New Hampshire. You can watch my book talk at Unlikely Story below.
